Judson Brennan inlets an entry thimble.














In this sequence, Jud begins to inlet an entry thimble into the curly maple stock of a rifle in the early stages of fabrication. Prussian blue is applied to the backside of the thimble and it is carefully pressed against the wood. The high spots disclosed by the marker are then, little by little carefully chiseled away.
