Edward Marshall Rifle: all stock work finished!

With the warming temperatures and melting of the snow, Jud's road has been impassable for the past two weeks. For this reason I was unable to venture down to continue my photographic documentation of this important work. Jud has been busy and working hard as is shown in the following pictures of the completed stock and patchbox lid taken this past Friday.

First the buttstock, the patchbox lid and the distinctive "swell" of the fore-end

Here we show the trigger guard, buttplate and carving around the tang, the side plate and the cheekpiece.

Finally, on the way home:beautiful view of the Alaska Range!
Our beautiful Alaska!
